Ayurvedic Solutions to Keratosis Pilaris

Keratosis pilaris is a common skin condition that causes tiny bumps that typically appear on upper arms, thighs, cheeks or buttocks. The bumps are not painful or itchy but the skin in that area is dry and rough. Symptoms often worsen with seasonal changes (dry – low humidity conditions).

Please avoid pitta foods during this time. foods like potatoes, spices, brinjal and any bitter and sour foods like pickles, bitter guard, sauerkraut.

Add foods more like foods like apples, grapes, zucchini, lettuce, cucumbers, cilantro, rice and fresh organic dairy to your diet. Soups are good to have. you can take mung bean lentils but please soak them couple hours before .
